My words and actions

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
    be acceptable in your sight,
    O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.

As we quickly approach the time for setting new resolutions, we are also in the time of deep reflection.

How can we end this year pursuing pleasing words and actions?

The Holy Bible reminds us that this starts with our hearts.

A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

Luke 6:45, ESV

A good heart starts with being connected to the Source of all Good.

Inviting Jesus Christ into your heart is the start. For born again Christians, pursuing a deeper relationship with Him through prayer, studying His word and worship is the definition of our spiritual walk.

My words and actions are good because of my Good Father.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above
