Affirmations in Christ

It is not me but GOD fueling my affirmation.

Let’s look at what God’s Word, The Bible, says about these two affirmations:

I HAVE A PURPOSE. I AM SPECIAL.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:10, esv

God in His glorious omniscience knew our purpose long before we were born.

In this affirming scripture, as born-again Christians, we are reminded of His purpose for our “good works” in our lives.

This is not saying good works are the foundation of our salvation because we are only saved by grace through faith, as verses 8 and 9 of chapter 2 of Ephesians reminds us.

Verse 10 is affirming us to walk in our unique, intended purpose, which was and is designed by God. Good works for HIS glory.

You, dear friend, never have to question how special you are or how much you are needed. God has always had a purpose for you. Through Christ, for the glory of the Lord, YOU ARE SPECIAL. YOU HAVE A PURPOSE.

Trust God. Seek Him. Be Affirmed in Christ.
